Prof. Blandine Gatta Cherifi

Prof. Blandine Gatta Cherifi, MD, PhD is an endocrinologist. She is currently Professor in the department of endocrinology at Bordeaux CHU.  She is also the head of the Specialized Center for Obesity care in Aquitaine (France).  She has a wide experience in the field of clinical research and obesity. She has been involved in and coordinated many human studies on obesity and metabolism. Additionally, she belongs to the research team "Energy balance and obesity" (Neurocenter Magendie) directed by Doctor Daniela Cota where she is exclusively involved in clinical studies. She has been especially involved in human studies aimed at understanding the role of the endocannabinoïd system in human metabolic diseases.
