Coordinator : Christophe Mulle
Christophe Mulle is a cellular neurobiologist with expertise in the electrophysiology of synaptic transmission and an international leader in studies on glutamate receptors and hippocampal synaptic plasticity. His research links cell biological mechanisms of protein trafficking and function to synaptic physiology and dysfunction. He is heavily involved in research and training at the European level. He created the European Neuroscience Campus (an Erasmus Mundus initiative), coordinated a large ITN on Synaptopathies, and is currently part of SyDAD, a newly created ITN on synaptic dysfunction in Alzheimer's disease (coord: Bengt Winblad, Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm). He recently founded the Bordeaux School of Neuroscience.
